On the evening of March 30th, 2016, a fire engulfed the Jean Burns building (the old ACME Food Co building) at the intersection of Commercial St and Terminal Ave.

Although everyone was evacuated safely, the fire caused extensive damage to some local Nanaimo businesses.

Island Daily Deals is collecting donations to help the businesses located in the Jean Burns building that were most affected by this devastating event.

As our contribution, Island Daily Deals will be covering all processing costs associated with donations.
