• What are ‘In-Sync Sounds’ Online Lessons?

I teach online from my studio in Parksville on Vancouver Island. I have pioneered the use of 'low-latency' platforms for teaching over long distances. Which allows me to teach students as far away as Ontario. I use Zoom with a webcam focused on my Guitar or Piano keyboard and a front-facing camera. I can get very good results teaching Online over long distances using the correct Zoom Professional Audio Settings. I will help you set these up at our first lesson.

Rock/Pop Piano, Guitar (Folk, Pop Rock),  If you want to learn certain Songs, Chords, Scales, Melodies, and Music Theory, we can do that too. Or we can help you learn from a Method Book. Following each lesson, the teacher will send you a video of the complete lesson, so that you can review it throughout the week.

Synchronous Online Lessons offers lessons from Beginners to Advanced, for both School–Aged Children and Adults.

• Mr. Grant Freeman is an experienced music teacher and performer. He has enjoyed teaching Concert Band, and Concert Choir as well as Jazz Band and Choir at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. He has also conducted and composed musicals and taught Music Composition. He has taken courses in sound reinforcement and recording techniques.

Mr. Freeman is a skilled Composer, Music Arranger, Pianist, French Hornist, and Singer and has enthusiastically led classes in ukulele, guitar, and piano keyboard.

Mr. Freeman currently teaches at Arrowsmith Independent School in Qualicum Beach and has a current Criminal Record Check for working with the Vulnerable Sector (anyone under the age of 18)
